The difficulty is still brutal, but the “economy” aspect and the long campaign are gone. They got rid of the base camp and management of dozens of adventurers, focusing instead on a particular group you pick at the beginning. There's a brief period of invulnerability after each strike and you'll have to land a fair number of blows, but you should get used to the attack patterns pretty quickly and this fight will be in the bag before you know it.Red Hook Studios streamlined the flow of the game. Then get in close and hit your foe with the sword a time or two. Move around the shots, between the groupings. The bee will fire three sets of four stingers that fly toward you in a spread shot. Just greet them with a sword and they'll disappear, occasionally leaving behind fruit in case you've taken damage in the battle.

The bees will drop out of their circular formation, lower themselves to your level, then zip toward you. That attack isn't difficult to avoid because you have lots of time to see it coming. One attack involves sending several bees chasing after you. You can move in close enough to get in a hit or two early in the fight, but then you should back away. Your sword has a long range in its powered-up state and you can hit your foe from a reasonable distance even though it will fly around the area with a shield of smaller bees. To speed things up, know that you'll definitely have an easiest time if you can manage to avoid taking a hit. (Above Right) When you see the main bee's stinger lowering, it's time to get a safe distance away so that you can more easily avoid the ensuing spread shots. (Above Left) The smaller bees will drop out of formation occasionally to come after you, so have your sword ready to greet them.
Besides, you can warp directly to the boss to try again if you fall in battle (just use the tile from the area entrance, where you'll continue upon dying), so it shouldn't take long to win the fight. This battle is a great deal more challenging than the one you faced at the end of the Grass Temple, but by now you should be more comfortable with yourself. Enter that door to find the boss waiting. Now return to the room just below the boss's chamber.
You can repeat a similar pattern to reach that treasure chest. That statue will come to rest on the switch and a treasure chest will appear in the room's upper left corner. The statue that is now just to the right of it can then be pushed up one space and now you can push the statue that is just to the right of it up one space. Push the leftmost statue on that row up one space. Start with the third row of statues from the bottom. To get to it, you'll need to push statues so that one comes to rest on the switch. Though it's hard to make out, there's a switch in the upper right corner of the room.

The room that you've found is full of statues. Use the key to open the door that leads to the next room. This is the room where you found the Bomb Bag. Head down into the previous room, then left two rooms and from there proceed down one more room. That's not the one that you were hoping for, of course, but it's a start. Defeat them, then open the treasure chest that they were guarding to obtain a standard Key. In that new room, you'll find some skeletons to battle. Place a Bomb there and let it explode to reveal a pathway into the next room. Using the room just ahead of the boss chamber as your starting point (remember that you can warp directly to it from the dungeon entrance if you went outside for a health refill, head down one room and right two rooms. Whatever you decide to do, you should eventually continue exploring the dungeon. (Above Right) Move the statues to find the switch, then place one on the switch to reveal a chest that holds the Boss Key. (Above Left) It's time to put your Bomb Bag to good use. Then it's just a quick jaunt back to Wardna's House if you need to refill your energy. Fortunately, there's a tile that that you can activate to return to the dungeon entrance if needed. That key is located nearby, but you might be low on health by the time you reach this room. You'll see the boss's chamber symbol on the door leading up to the next room, but you don't yet have the key that you'll need to make use of it.
